On Tuesday, January 24, 2012, Allegiant Travel Company and Roberts Field-Redmond Municipal Airport held a news conference announcing a new, nonstop service to and from Oakland, California beginning April 26. To celebrate this new service, Allegiant Air is offering passengers flying to and from the Bay Area a special introductory fare of $29.99* one-way, including taxes and fees.
